Hello! My name is Linda Boutchee Harris. I just had my 68th birthday last December! I am married to the “Most Incredible Marine in the World” for 48 years! We met 49 years ago while we both were on active duty! I was in the United States Navy. We have served all over the world, mostly in the orient! My Marine retired after almost 29 years, and we moved on to new careers of service, to include 18 years as Deacon and Deaconess! We have an Awesome daughter; who walks into a room, and the Sun follows her in day or night!

I fell in love with all things fashion at the knee of my Aunt Nan! She could cut fabric without a pattern and make Couture garments that were absolutely beautiful! She taught me to sew when I was about seven! She was very strict about the details of fashion! To this day, I believe that the smallest details of fashion make the difference!

I have made countless outfits over the years for; Marine Corps balls, Change of Commands, and later prom dresses for our daughter. To this day I enjoy having friends come over to help them get dressed for a special occasion!

I have also gone on to teach myself to make; window treatments, recover and refinish furniture (as a military wife who has moved 12 times, you learn to be creative in military housing!)

At 68…I ‘m just as excited; about Life, Love, Fashion, Relationships with people and God, as I ever was! And I know a lot you out there of a “Certain Age” are too!
